The noble drop

Label Design

As part of the annual Etivera Design Competition, I had to develop a design for a wine and spirits label. In this competition, I made it into the top 30 out of almost 200 entries in the jury's ranking.

The idea came to me from the expression "noble drop" (Edels Tropfen) for delicious alcoholic beverages. Often used in reference to wine, I tried to reference the noble drop and integrate it into the label design. The black shell with a gold outline underlines the high quality of the beverage, and the cutout shape of the drop draws the consumer's attention to the actual contents.

The noble drop works with all alcoholic beverages and is therefore perfect for a series and can be adapted to different bottle sizes.
