While many tour operators continue to present their hotel portfolios in traditional catalog format, I took an innovative approach for the luxury tour operator lux*terra: I developed a combination of magazine and catalog – a so-called magalog.
This magalog combines inspiring travel reports, insider tips, and recommendations for high-end travel with a presentation of exclusive hotel offers. Readers are first transported into the world of the destinations before being offered suitable accommodations for booking.
When designing the magalog, great importance was placed on conveying the luxurious and sophisticated aesthetic of lux*terra. All elements of the corporate design were taken into account to create a coherent, high-quality overall image that appeals to both existing customers and potential new customers.
The result is a magalog that not only provides information, but also invites visitors to browse, discover, and linger thanks to its appealing design – thus giving the catalog format a longer lifespan.
